All public events are “family friendly”, but children might hear adult conversations or see adult themed paintings at Pick Your Painting. Per the ABLE Commission, BYOB is illegal in Oklahoma. Pick Your Own Design Events (painting/glass etching): Walk-ins are welcome, but we do sell tickets in advance and seating is limited.
Instructor Lead Events: In order to provide a top notch experience for our customers, our canvases are pre-sketched/prepped for instructor lead events. Studio seating is limited, so unless you’re helping a small child at a kid-tastic event, everyone present must have a paid ticket.
Fantastic! There is no experience necessary! You will have a great time and be very surprised with yourself while you tap into your dormant creative side.
Our paint is water based an may be removed with isopropyl alcohol, however, don’t wear your best finery. especially elongated bell shaped sleeves. If you wouldn’t wear it around a stove, don’t wear it to make art, LOL. We do provide aprons (and when needed) rubber gloves.
Events are competitively priced with prices on each listing on the calendar. We are constantly adding new crafty experiences and prices vary depending on the activity.
Crafty Canvas OK is an amazing location for a cozy private party! With 10 seats, it feels just like home except no worries about paint on your own carpet. We have space to put out goodies for a birthday party or a bridal shower. We require a minimum of just four people for in studio events and six participants if we come to you. No discounts apply. To begin the booking process, send us an email to check date availability. We will then create a private event for you on our website with a link to pay the deposit. The deposit is just the cost of just 2 tickets which varies on type and location of the event. Deposits are refundable if cancellation is requested >7 days in advance or we are experiencing nasty weather. Safety is our top priority so guests are safe to “art” with us another day! Additional guests can use that same event listing to purchase their own tickets for your private event. Just dialog with us and we’ll do our best to exceed your expectations.
Yes! We know how difficult it can be to gather people for one event on one specific night (or to agree on ONE design!!!) so we give a unique code to the organization to give to those wanting to support them. That code can be used for ANY Crafty Canvas OK event, (including our wildly popular Pick Your Own Painting events) in a certain time frame. Our standard donation is 25% from each ticket sold. When that code shows in the accounting software, we know to earmark 25% of that purchase for the organization. It is similar to when a restaurant donates when patrons dine there and a portion of each check is donated to the fundraiser’s cause. It is up to the organization to share this fundraising opportunity with as many as possible in their circle of influence.
We also do traditional instructor lead events where everyone comes on the same day and completes the same painting or project to support the same cause.
We will be offering Paint Your Pet again as a fundraiser!!!!!! Nominate your favorite animal rescue to be the recipient of your fundraising $. In the past we have helped Mutt Misfits, Shannon Farmz and Our Litte Rat Rescue of Oklahoma.

Yes and no. Most items you see on social media (like PINTEREST) are copyrighted. We have on occasion blown up a company’s existing logo and put it on the canvas for a team building event. There is a $50 set up charge and includes 1 revision for us to design a custom painting for you. This must be paid at least 2 weeks before the event.
Yes! We will be more than happy to recreate any painting you see in the gallery to your color specifications. Most can be simplified or sized down as well. 50% must be paid in advance, the rest is due upon delivery. Priority Mail is $10 for a 16 x 20 canvas. We do have some darling upcycle crafts as well as etched glassware and some jewelry for retail at the studio starting at just $1 as well!
